Efterklang

+ Kristín Anna

The Danish trio perform their new album Altid Sammen, seven years since their last studio record, along with material from their back catalogue.

Steeped in their trademark sonic experimentation, the band fuse baroque instrumentation with their signature expansive sound, creating songs that are deep and sonorous. On Altid Sammen – meaning ‘always together’ – the band have taken a less-is-more approach, engaging on a more primal and emotional level as Casper Clausen sings in his mother tongue with some of his most personal lyrics yet.

Following a break from the cycle of albums and touring, during which the band wrote an opera, Leaves: The Colour of Falling (brought to the Barbican stage in 2017), they return to their traditional band set-up with a fresh creativity.

Support comes from former múm vocalist Kristín Anna, performing material from her solo album I Must Be the Devil.
