Waverle joins the First News team as a Breaking News Live Desk reporter and anchors KETV NewsWatch 7 at noon.

A Omaha native, Waverle found her passion at Buffett Magnet Middle School where she got her first taste at journalism and broadcasting. She graduated from Burke High School in 2012 and went on to study broadcast communications at the University of Nebraska, Omaha. After graduating from UNO in 2016, she began her journalist career in Duluth, Minnesota as a morning reporter.

There she learned to love the morning news.

Waverle joined KETV as a Multi-Media Journalist in 2017 before being named First News Weekend Anchor in 2019.
